Finding Your Next Chapter: Reinventing Work with Renewed Purpose
Episode description:
As careers evolve — or end unexpectedly — many seasoned professionals find themselves asking, “What’s next?” In this episode I talk with Mike Dwyer, founder of Emplana Career, a Boston-based organization that helps older adults, primarily white-collar professionals, discover their next chapter. Drawing on decades of experience in management and consulting, Mike shares how a simple favor — helping a friend with a resume — grew into a mission to guide people through job transitions, age bias, and the digital job hunt. He reveals how to “fight back” with confidence, rethink networking, and use new tools like Emplana’s Career Workbook to find direction and fulfillment in the second half of life.
