- Watch Ron's Interview with Cindy and Arielle -

How to Focus on Aging through an Intergenerational Lens

EPISODE DESCRIPTION:

When people examine cultural trends today, they tend to break issues down by generations: demographic segments of older and younger populations defined by certain ages. But Cindy Morris and Arielle Galinsky refuse to accept such siloes. In today’s episode, I’ll be talking with these two dynamic women leaders about their intergenerational perspective on a wide range of aging issues they define as “not just old people problems.”  Cindy is the CEO of the Benson Agency, a boutique consultancy that works with nonprofits, and she has 25 years of experience in executive leadership and sales management. Arielle, a Master of Public Policy student at Harvard’s Kennedy School, is a rising advocate dedicated to effecting change in health care policy. We’ll be discussing ageism, caregiving, public policy issues and systemic discrimination, and their deep passion for bridging generation gaps and reframing our society’s views on aging.
